Manicuring is the art and science of professional nails. The Manicurist course prepares our students to perform skills including manicuring, pedicuring, nail art design and artificial nail application of acrylics and gels with a focus on health and safety. As a future nail professional you will learn nail care beauty techniques, as well as professional nail care products and their proper use. Employment opportunities include a wide range of specialty areas such as nail salons, beauty spas, salons, the hospitality industry and cruise ships.

Graduation requirements: 400 Total Hours
NAIL CARE (300 Hours)
Manicures, Pedicures, Liquid, Powder, Tips, Wraps & Repairs
Health & Safety (100 Hours)
Laws and regulations; Health and safety considerations; Disinfection and sanitation; Anatomy and Physiology
The course requirements for Manicurist programs in the state of California includes the satisfactory completion of 400 hours according to the CA State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
