At CHDA we are often asked:

What exactly is financial aid and am I elgiible to receive it?

Financial aid is assistance fromthe U.S. Government which helps assist you to pay for the cost of your education. Financial aid can come in two forms:

  1. Grants - money you do not have to pay back
  2. Student Loans

Many of our students receive a combination of the two, and almost all of our students receive at least one type of aid. However, all aid is need based.

To begin the Financial Aid Process...

Students need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This application is used to determine what type of funding assistance a student can qualify for. To fill our a FAFSA, students can go to www.fafsa.ed.gov, but we suggest you meet with one of our financial aid officers so they can walk you through and explain to you the complicated process of applying for aid.

Our staff is always available for any Financial Aid questions you might have. Feel free to call a financial aid officer at one of our campuses, or set up an appointment with one of them to discuss your options, one on one. >>Contact Us
